Second of the current set of survivors, base coated and washed, but no highlights yet. Nelly was a bit more difficult – I spotted at least one section of her hair that was hidden and missed during the base coat. And the white shirt and apron blended into the light colored dress a bit too much following the wash – hopefully it will have more contrast after the highlighting. The hair was not as strong as I had hoped either – the “mythical orange” was a bit too watery (I believe I didn’t shake the bottle enough), so the initial coverage was very thin. A second coat helped, but after the highlighting it should be much better balanced.
