As mentioned previously, I am the den leader for an eager group of Webelos cub scouts. Our current project is the creation of a collection of small films as part of the film making adventure, something that I have a minimal amount of experience with. As part of this project, due to a non-existent budget, we opted to try to use green-screens in order to fill in for the set locations and backgrounds. During the filming, we ended up having a bit of spare time, so with the kids, we filmed a bit of goofing off, which I then experimented with in Adobe Premier. The end result is below – there is no audio, and the lighting is very rough – but this was intended purely as a proof of concept effort only. Thankfully Premier is pretty simple to do this effect, and I was able to splice it all together in only an hour or so late at night.
