This next weekend is the long awaited and delayed full start to Shadowrun (maybe). Unfortunately, we have a conflict with the kid’s football schedules. My son’s football plays on Sunday, which make me unavailable, and one of the players plays on Sunday as well, making his family (and most of our other players) unavailable. As usual, our attempts at a second campaign schedule are always challenging.
As a compromise, we may shift the game to Friday night instead, which would be a slightly shorter session, but at least is currently open on the calendar. As discussed previously, I am going to try to streamline and minimize my challenges by not live streaming the session, and by not using Syrinscape for the initial few games. My focus instead is to try to get a decently solid start to the game and story, and focus on the player experience instead. Fingers are crossed.
