We had a fun tournament, with quite a few players for our annual tournament. Ended up with fewer players than last year, apparently several felt pre-cooking for Thanksgiving was a higher priority, and some of last years players were out of town. But those that did show up had a lot of fun, and we ended up playing several rounds. Format was a double-elimination bracket setup, which did end up being a bit complex once we got started (I was using cards to sort everyone, and started getting confused about half-way thru). Everyone was friendly and social though, so it was not much of an issue.
Victory ended up with my son again, who managed to be the only player who never lost a game, despite playing 6 or so rounds. We will likely have to handicap him in some manner next year, since this is his second win, and he is starting to get a bit of a reputation with the rest of the players.
