Continuing my collection of the initial releases of the X-Wing Second edition starships, and added the Millenium Falcon (Lando version). Initially, I was not excited about the model – the addition of the escape pod in the front just doesn’t seem right and makes the ship look weird. But after digging a bit, I discovered that it was a detachable ship, and the model was really two in one. Win win in my book. The colors are still a bit bright and new for the “real” Falcon, but I can deal with that easy enough.
Also managed to pick up the Bespin 3×3 play surface, which hopefully will make the games more immersive. Plus, the mat claims to be anti-slip, so perhaps it will help reduce the number of nudges we experience during each game.
