As a commemorative for our successful completion to the long running campaign (assuming the weather and schedules allow for our final session), I have been working on a collectible for each of the players. This is based off a design from Thingiverse for a dice case, which can also store a pencil and have a space for a figure or other small items. However, rather than the flat cover, I embedded the Sihedron Rune into the surface, which works rather well.
The pieces are printed on the 3d printer, using a copper/bronze filament, and secured by magnets in each corner. The hardest challenge I have had unfortunately has just been consistency with the printer – “repeatability” seems to be an ongoing challenge with this printer without frequent tinkering. Since our group is so large (10 players), there was a fairly high count of failed parts.
