Been spending time painting the recently acquired squad of wookies, including Chewbacca. It is rather entertaining, trying to come up with unique styles and patterns for each piece, while still maintaining continuity.
Not really sold yet on the blonde wookie – I may have chosen a bit too much yellow in the color. Hopefully this will mellow out a bit with a wash and highlighting, but right now it is fairly strong.
For Chewbacca, I started with a Fur Brown coloring, though once it was applied it appears to be a bit more red than it was supposed to be. Once the wash was applied, this was much more brown and dark, and closer to the intent. Curious to see if I can get pretty close, with some highlights and details.
