We had a successful character generation session, and managed to start the very basics of the campaign during this last weekend. The group ended up varied and original – I like all of the concepts. Due to the size of the group, I was discouraging summoner-style characters (already too much on the board), but otherwise I was fairly open to race and class combinations. Several of the choices I have not seen in play yet, so it will be a learning experience for us all.
The cast of heroes is as follows:
- Durgham Tess – Elven Warpriest of Cayden Cailean
- Pokey Darkstrike – Dwarven Fighter
- Lanliss – Elven Wizard (Universalist)
- Merlin Brimstone – Half-Elf Sorcerer (Dragon Bloodline)
- Kyras – Half-Elf Inquisitor of Iomedae
- Marra – Halfling Paladin of Erastil (Divine Defender)
- Shortleave Imadying – Halfling Rogue
- Aliah – Half-Orc Monk
- Strider – Human Ranger
- Violet – Elven Druid (Feral Shifter)
- and a to be named “rogue archer” character
Fortunately, with the Kingmaker campaign, we have plenty of room and roles for all these characters, and the flexibility to have the group split into smaller teams as needed (or as players are unavailable).
