As we continue our Pathfinder Age of Ashes campaign, the group is slowly collecting and painting their miniatures for their characters. One part that is particularly interesting to me is that everyone is very much vested in not only have a representative figure, but in hand painting it themselves. To that end, we have custom ordered figures, and others that are unable to be used until the painting is fully finished.
The most recent is Goruza, the group’s Cleric of Sarenrae, and a Half-Orc. As usual, the figure is hand painted by the player, which turned out very nice – though my picture doesn’t do it justice.
Goruza suffers from Haunting Visions, which is what brought her to Breechill in the first place, seeking to understand and find an answer to the dreams of fire and destruction. Perhaps the events of the upcoming campaign will solve some of the mysteries.
The Priest provides some much needed healing abilities for the group, especially as we adapt to the new edition. Although the group tends to be a bit high on the hit points (compared to 1st edition), the game is no less deadly. This had lead to several times requiring the area of effect healing powers of the Cleric, in order to either keep the group alive, or rescue those already down on the ground.
