I didn’t end up taking any new pictures, so here is an old picture. Last Friday, I finally got motivated enough to paint up the rest of my True-Tiles collection, to match with the prior pieces. It was a nagging project, one which was front and center with our new campaign and the videos that document it. So I felt it was time to finally get to work and actually paint the rest of the pieces.
Fortunately, the process is fairly painless and fast – a quick prime in black, and a heavy dry brush in dark grey. Finish it off in a light drybrush of light grey, and let them dry. This completed not only the flat tiles, but also all of the various wall and tunnel sections I have printed thus far, and I spent the few minutes to repair and re-assemble a couple that had broke apart in the past with new magnets.
Unfortunately, it seems one tile managed to slip thru unpainted (I missed it in the scatter terrain box), and I still need to make an effort to paint the remainder of the doors, but this is a good start.
