Seems at this point, at least for the holidays, I am abandoning the plans to mold chocolate dice. Although I still have my template ready, once I found that the silicon had expired, I simply have not found an economical replacement option. Most suppliers are fairly expensive, especially for the volume I will need for the large mold.
This would be in comparison to an Etsy or similar product, which honestly would likely be a bit more professional than something I can create. I can certainly order a mold, which would work, but with other projects and timelines for the holiday, there just isn’t enough time to work on it.
I may visit it again in the new year, if only because I want to try the effort, and chocolate dice are not really Holiday themed anyway. Perhaps they will be Easter dice, or just a fun project related to our game schedule.
