For our second RPG group, we are starting to reach the end of the introductory adventure, The Fall of Plaguestone. The group of 7 players has been fairly successful, though they are of course having to adapt to their particular characters – in some cases with varying degrees of success. For several, this is the first RPG game they have played. For others, this is the first Pathfinder 2e game. And a couple have been active gamers for sometime.
For the story, I am estimating that we will wrap up the adventure in the next couple of sessions, which would put us near the end of February. Fortunately, Paizo is releasing the first chapter of the Extinction Curse at the end of January, so as I had planned, the timing works out well. Once the Plaguestone adventure wraps up, we will have the group generate new, long-term characters, and begin the full fledged campaign.

However, I had initially hoped to be able to start filming and documenting that campaign as well. Although I have the technology, and the will – it is the scheduling that will interfere. My Age of Ashes effort is going strong (at least from the videography standpoint), but I just don’t think I have enough to time in a week to edit down both sets of stories. And I don’t really want to short change one or the other. Perhaps if I can streamline a bit further it may be possible, but there are just too many other conflicts asking for my time.
Fortunately, this will cause little impact. Despite my efforts, my audience level is practically non-existent, so other than the random visitor this will affect no one 🙂
