Well before this Covid-19 pandemic, this weekend was scheduled to be a bit of a break from work. The wife and older son were going to be in Florida at Disney, and my younger son had our own plans. I had planned for next week to be a vacation from work, to get several projects around the house completed and just have some downtime.
Then the pandemic struck, and all plans went out the window. Now, everyone is sticking around (which is good too), but I still have my original plans. Starting Friday, I no longer will be paying attention to work for the following week, which will be nice on its own. I might not be able to work on as many projects, but I can enjoy the time with the entire family. Which may be a nice distraction for them as well, since they are otherwise going a bit stir crazy being locked up inside.
Should have a bit of time for gaming, and maybe will tackle a bit of my backlog of painting and hobby work. In general, just looking for the week without responsibility 🙂
