Episode 5 of the 2nd Chapter (Cult of Cinders) of our Age of Ashes campaign is being released now on YouTube. If you are a supporter on Patreon, you can view the content up to two weeks early. Otherwise, the content will be released in pieces over the next couple of weeks.
This particular session I labeled as an Archaeological Distraction, since a large portion was about the group’s interaction with a Taldan treasure hunter name Gerhardt Pendergrast. This was a useful distraction from the repetitive nature of the Dragon Pillars, which fortunately are coming to an end with the next session.
For this episode, we switched back to Fantasy Grounds Classic, instead of Unity which was used for prior episodes. Although the Unity version is nice with line of sight, it is also pre-release, which has lead us to a few stability and performance problems. Rather than deal with that frustration, we instead are using the more stable and reliable Classic software.
