The process moved fast, with only 2 days on the market we received and accepted an offer for the old house. Officially, we haven’t closed, but it is now “under contract” and pending. We have inspections and then likely final negotiations, but if all goes well, by July 10 the old place will be a memory to us.
In the meantime, we of course continue with the care and feeding of the location – cutting the grass, cleaning the pool, and clearing the trash. For the most part however really are really just on standby at this point, waiting for the arrival of the new home.
