I haven’t posted in a while, but there have been numerous changes. Most importantly, we managed to clear out the old house, pack everything away, and complete necessary repairs and projects. The house is now on the market, and with the current home sales environment, rather active.
On the destination, we have finalized our options and decisions, and the process is now with the home builder. Our project meeting is either this week or next, then they start the actual digging and building. Goal is still October timeframe for the completion.
In between, we are camping out with the inlaws, occupying their basement with our computer collection and sharing the rest of their home. The biggest adjustment really has only been the presence of our dogs with theirs, though no doubt other pain points may develop over the course of the next several months.
