Another week, and more updates on the house build and future “super basement” (per the kids). At this point, we have a foundation. The inspectors will be out this week to certify all the necessary parts, then there is waterproofing of the foundation and backfilling of the soil. From there, the floor of the basement goes in and the framing begins. Framing should not be delayed – they have already delivered those materials and they are standing by next to the construction site.
Still aiming for mid-October, based on the project manager’s feedback, so I expect a lot of change and progress over the next couple of week.
