I haven’t posted in a while about our ongoing (and still active) Pathfinder campaigns, primarily due to our move and the discontinuing of the video archive. Both adventure paths are still active and alive, despite being entirely virtual these days – a state we are hoping to change once the new house is done.
For our Sunday Age of Ashes campaign, the group has moved on to Chapter 3, and are fighting slavers in the service of the Scarlet Triad. The group has fought several running battles with the enemy forces which have besieged the town of Cypress Point. At this time, the group is making their way towards the center of town, to take on the invading forces leadership, and finally liberate the captives.
Our Friday Extinction Curse campaign is continuing as well, the group moving into Chapter 2. Their circus has left Abberton, and moved on to Escadar, where they are working to secure a location for their upcoming shows. In the meantime, the Circus of Wayward Wonders has continued to cause a bit of mischief and chaos with their operations, and the city has tasked them with clearing a bit of hazardous terrain, before they can legally be allowed to operate. Meanwhile, the group has some side investigations into the recent operations of the Xulgaths in the region, which they have been pursuing as time permits.
Overall, both campaigns have been operating well, and the groups seem very involved in the storylines. With the recent release of the Advanced Players Guide, many new options are now available, which I expect to start being incorporated as the group levels up or has the opportunity to retrain.
Look for the resumption of video archives, potentially coming back in November, once we are settled into our new home and location. At that point, I hopefully will have a much more stable setup and gear arrangement, and can streamline my process much better.
