Our other primary campaign, and the longer running one of the two, is our ongoing Age of Ashes campaign. This is our bi-weekly Sunday game, though recent conflicts with the Scouting activities has caused some gaps.
The group is currently level 10, located in the city of Kintargo, in the midst of Chapter 3. After having successfully repelled an invasion of the fishing town of Cypress Point, the group has following various leads for the Scarlet Triad to Kintargo. There they are seeking information on the organization, and their elusive leader, Laslunn.
While continuing this investigation, the group came across and became involved in a resent aggressive action by the Triad who are actively attempting to strike back against the anti-slavery organization, the Bellflower Network. Bellflower agent in Kintargo seek to liberate and rescue existing slaves, actions which seem to be in opposition to the Scarlet Triad.
Unfortunately, their covert war has been complicated by growing tensions between Ravounel and nearby Nidal, the latter of which appears to be actively working to sabotage Kintargo’s stability and peace. As we ended the last session, the group had arrived at Kite Hill, in order to work with the Bellflowers to warn of incoming attacks from the Scarlet Triad. While they were delivering that message however, forces from Nidal struck by summoning several creatures in the midst of the festivities. The group is now facing a desperate battle versus very strong foes.
As a side note, the goblin rogue Norm has had a sense of foreboding, ever since a vision he received in the Dreamgate Way Station – a vision which predicts his death at this hill to these threats.
