Set up for another round of Star Wars Legion, with my Separatist army (unmodified) going up against a revised Imperial Army. The battlefield is set, and the units deployed, and the forces are ready to start (as soon as we have time enough). On the field, we have a rather symmetrical field of forests (light cover), rivers (difficult terrain), and hills (hard cover). The center is dominated with a rocky bridge, and there are a number of river crossings. The trees are newly painted (but not done), and the river is freshly printed (and not painted at all). Still a bit of work to do on the various terrain pieces.

Mission objectives for us are a new combination – Intercept the transmissions, with Rapid Reinforcements and Battle Lines. Current field has the Empire setting up heavily on one side, with the Separatists strong in the middle and far side. Both teams opted to reserve a single unit for Rapid Reinforcements.

The Empire has modified their force significantly – the AT-ST is now gone, in favor of several Stormtroopers, Inferno Squad, Scouts, and Iden Versio – bringing their activation count up quite a bit. The Separatists have few activations, but a dominant AAT in the center of the line (and not much anti-armor on the Empire’s side.

In concept, I may try to record the game, if only to have some video to work with again. But really I only expect to at most post an update on the battle results, once we get time to play again. Current score trend is 2 wins for the Separatists, 0 for the Empire.
