Switching gears a bit from the recent Star Wars strategy games, and refocusing on my RPG efforts. This week finally sees our return to live, in person gaming, a situation I have been waiting for for quite some time. Not only will this be my first GM’ing post-Covid with a life group, but it will also be the first time using my new basement and gaming space – something that a few others have already had the opportunity to do.
This will also be my first opportunity to return to video archiving the game sessions, though I expect the effort will be rather rough for the first few sessions. I haven’t done much editing in over a year, so I am no doubt rusty, and my templates will certainly need to be updated.
For our current game focus, we are playing Warhammer Fantasy, with the 4th edition rules. The group is currently traveling by river barge from Altdorf to Bogenhafen, as part of the larger campaign, so I felt it appropriate to revisit one of my older incomplete models. As such, I present the nearly completed Berebeli, owned and operated by Josef Quartjin, and current home of the group during the current part of the story. Assuming they don’t end up murdering their friend, I will likely continue to use him in other stories as a re-occurring NPC.
