One of the requirements of our upcoming campaign is for all characters to be represented by an accurate figure, which has been painted. For several of our players, that is a stretch, and not what they are comfortable with. However, art supplies and options being what they are, even inexperienced persons can paint remarkably well.
During our last painting session, my son was encouraged to paint Aznak, his Kobold Ranger. This is only his second figure he has ever printed, and he did most of it in Citadel Contrast Paints. He even opted for a bit of dark scale highlight, to go with his fire dragon theme.
Overall, I am very impressed, and this is just one of several characters I have seen thus far. Everyone is embracing the story, and going the extra mile to make sure they are ready for the campaign, and that their vision of their characters is represented.
