With my professional life in IT support, I have a desire to test and verify all technology, especially when it is new – or at least a new process. To that end, I am planning on scheduling a pre-campaign live stream to test the configuration, tools, and options. Consider it a Session 0 for the campaign, but it is also a decent time for any (albeit small) audience to interact and provide feedback. I doubt there will be any real content, except for audio testing and such.
I ran a similar test previously, but the connection was set for Twitch rather than YouTube. That worked, and I found it rather successful, but I have since opted for the different platform. In addition, my streaming configuration has changed quite a bit now, so I am looking to retest to make sure it all still works.
Most likely not going to post it as a public stream, but it will be available as an unlisted stream – rtmp://a.rtmp.youtube.com/live2
Good chance I may do a few additional tests before hand, but those will be specifically private.
