Hoth Updates

Continuing the effort to craft a terrain board with a Hoth theme, and so far, the hills and rocks seem to be working well. I settled on a recipe for the grout mixture, which makes it fairly easy to mold. I suspect due to the filler material I add it causes the drying time to be much longer than originally (the fibers hold on to the moisture), but in general it looks pretty good.

My next step is to spray down the surface with a PVA/water slurry, to harden and protect the surface. Then I plan on a layer of dry grout everywhere else on the surface, sealed in with PVA as well. Once that is dry, the next step would be a layer of primer paint on all surfaces, before a round of dry brushing to bring out specific details.

Given the grout time to dry (roughly 3 days), it is a slow project, but that works well with my timing and availability. Further pictures as I progress.
