Gave away the first set of miniatures from our Carrion Crown campaign during the game this weekend, to the current players of the storyline. Since there was only two comments, the giveaway was simple – I gave them the option of how or if to split the figures. They opted to amicably split the pieces, one picked, and the other half went to the other player. Not sure if future giveaways will be that clean, but it worked for us.
The second set is now up for giveaway, as I continue to clean out my collection. In general, the figures used in a given chapter will likely be given away during the next chapter – unless I have a particular use or desire to keep them. Specific NPCs and such almost certainly go, generic creatures and monsters likely stay.
For our next round, I am giving away the model of The Beast, the main character of Chapter 2. This includes both the fully painted figure used in the sessions, as well as an unpainted “draft” model I printed earlier to judge size.
