So after a bit of experimentation, I am dropping the YouTube Short format. The first video or two did decently, but that has rapidly dropped off. Maybe I am doing something wrong, but most likely they are just not the catchy content that YouTube intends (and that attracts viewers). They are not that complex to edit and create, perhaps an hour or so after the main video is created, but if it doesn’t generate interest, then it is a wasted effort. And realistically, 60 seconds is simply not enough time to really tell the story of a battle report – there are too many other details.
Maybe I am approaching them wrong, maybe I just don’t have that skill set. I will leave remaining what few I posted already, but no plans to continue for the future.
