Our latest episode and battle report, a battle between the Empire and the Separatists, featuring the new Geonosian models. This is the first of several video experimenting with some new camera and presentation layouts – based on feedback a relatively unsuccessful test. Thad plays the Separatists against my Empire force, and the battle ended up rather unexpectedly one-sided.
Followers were not fans of the exclusively shot overhead view, which I can understand given the difficult of following the specific units. Our next session has similar challenges (due to our production schedule), and then we shift to a side view on the following. As we continue to record, I will almost certainly switch back to the hand-held camera, due to the extra level of detail and the close-ups it provides.
