Spent a bit of time updating and adding a bunch of content to our custom Warhammer/Rolemaster fantasy mechanics, used for our existing Enemy Within campaign. The game has been going strong now for several years, despite originally thinking it would only last a few months. As a result, the details have evolved quite a bit – somethings have worked, and somethings have not. It continues to be a living system, but so far it is fairly well liked by the group.
Given the length of the campaign, the group has admittedly leveled and advanced much faster than planned. For a short story, this isn’t a factor and is intentional. For a long story, it is not sustainable. As a result, we will likely be doing a rebalance of sorts following the conclusion of the current chapter, expected in a few sessions.
