Star Wars Legion 107 – Republic vs Rebels

With the newly revised ruleset released (technically not official until 4/30/2025), I managed to convince George to play me in Legion. This gave us the opportunity to field the new Republic ARF troopers, as well the see some of the bigger unit changes in the game.

George is playing the Republic, with a strong Anakin Skywalker list with lots of clones. I am playing the opponent, with a Rebel list consisting of Han Solo, Jyn Erso, and Cassian Andor.

Definitely a few minor rules errors due to the change, but most of the issues where underestimating the changes, or misunderstanding some of the mechanics.

The revision to Anakin feels very strong, and I would say that I like Jyn a bit better. Admittedly I haven’t played much recently, so I am out of practice with the complexity of the Rebels. That is something I will be working on to remedy.
