We have a bit of new activity this week, with a continuation of the Warhammer campaign, and a bit of the Mordheim backlog. Legion continues to be unavailable, scheduling and interest has been low recently, so we have been filling the time with Mordheim instead. With the new releases and re-releases, I am hopeful that will pick up again. On the Warhammer front, we have the latest session of the Enemy Within campaign, where the group finally concludes the caves scene. After much adventuring and many challenges, their choices and actions catch up with them, and costs are paid. From…

We didn’t end up updating last week, since we had an unusual week (due to the new year) of no actual new content. Instead, we had a bit of a break to spend with family and friends, though we did get some preliminary (unfilmed) Rolemaster preparation in. This week however we continue our various RPG campaigns with both Warhammer and Pathfinder. The battle reports are still lacking – I have several Mordheim battles to process that I have just been slacking on, but we haven’t had the schedule to record either Star Wars Legion or Bolt Action for the last…

As a supplemental release, I finally finished the most recent Bolt Action battle report, seeing the British take on the Germans with a few new units. We haven’t been able to play for some time, so it was a bit of a relearning effort, but worked out well enough. For the British, they are fielding a pair of new M3 Grant medium tanks, accompanied by many inexperienced infantry. The Germans are fielding a Panzer medium tank, along with their Heer Infantry regulars. Of note, for players of Bolt Action, this match includes the start of a series of giveaways. An…

New year has begun, and we have a host of new RPG content recorded over the holidays. Still lacking a bit of battle report action, since most of the focus has been on large group activities. The big effort was the second major installment of our Two-Headed Serpent Pulp Cthulhu campaign, with the story finally continuing. This game is configured as a series of one-shot adventures – we start early and play late, attempting to finish the entire chapter in a single session. So far, this has worked well – it turns into a longer evening, but everyone has fun…

  • Pulp Cthulhu

After several months, our Two-Headed Serpent storyline continues this Friday, with chapter 2 of the Two-Headed Serpent. Our band of heroes is on their way back from Bolivia, where they stumbled into a series of supernatural and unusual events. Now, informally recruited by the Caduceus organization, they have returned for some rest and recovery in New York. Our next chapter kicks off at noon on Friday, December 26, and we are planning a single day session, likely running into the evening. The theme for this session is the New York location, as they get to know each other, the organization,…

This week brings a host of new content, as we resume multiple TTRPG campaigns and I start to get caught up on our battle report backlog. For our RPG sessions, we have restarted our Twitch channel, if you care to watch live during our sessions (H13_Gaming – Twitch). Still tuning the audio, but I am much more comfortable with that stream at this point. Our Warhammer FRP campaign continues, with the group deep in the lost valley, retracing the steps of Sigmar’s ascension and searching for the artifact, Ghal-Maraz. We ended the last session with a cliffhanger, and then had…

Unfortunately, no new releases this week as we adapt to the holiday schedules. We had a conflict with our recent Kingmaker game, and due to vacation schedules we are on a break from Warhammer. I did manage to get a new Legion video out last week, and I am looking for additional openings for more recording, but the work schedule with end of the year tasks has been tying up most of the free time. I also have several Mordheim battles queued up for processing, that should be worked on over the next few weeks. And perhaps a new mini-painting…

With the holidays approaching, I am hoping to have more time to get caught up on the battle reports, though I expect other tasks and distractions will continue to get in the way. However, we do have a new Legion release this week. In Star Wars Legion, we continue Tour of Duty battles with Evan fielding his Coruscant Guard register, against returning player Carter fielding the Hyper Logic Battalion for the Separatists. Both forces are starting clean with 600 points, putting us still in the Recon format. Despite the smaller size, the game doesn’t seem to play any faster, or…
